Hi readers!
Welcome back.
In this blog, I have brought forward how one can create an effective email list, which can be done by the following ways:
- Best Practices on List Building
Grow Your Email List |
Secondly, there are some websites that write reports, whitepapers, PDFs, etc. and ask the visitors to download. But before downloading, they ask your email ids so that they can keep reaching out to you.
Thirdly, for instance, if you go on to an e-commerce website like Amazon, Myntra, Flipkart, etc. , they always ask visitors for their email ids and whenever visitors sign up on their website, they give their Email Ids to them so that they can keep receiving amazing offers.
Fourthly, there are a lot of visitors or people who want to know more about a website's product or service. A website can provide information about a product or service and when visitors will arrive in search of information, you can make them sign up and add them to your list.
Fifthly, you can harvest your social channels like Facebook, LinkedIn, etc. and ask people whether they want to get mailers of their website which maybe amazing offers, information services, etc.
Sixthly, you can run paid campaigns on Google Search, social media like Facebook, Twitter, etc. and ask them to sign up.
Seventhly, you should not ask too many details from the visitors, higher the number of details you will ask , lower the number of fill rates will be.
Finally, you should scrub the list regularly, you should keep churning out, adding and keep the list healthy.
- Never Do This
Secondly, there are a lot of people who unsubscribe from your email, you should never send them mailers again or try to reach out to them because you are only going to antagonize them.
- Top KPIs to Measure Effectiveness of Mailers
All these measures will help you optimize your email campaign:
Open Rate i.e. the number of times your email has been opened in terms of percentage.Click Through Rates i.e. the number of times the link you have provided on your email has been clicked in terms of percentage.
Bounce Rates i.e. the number of times people have opened your landing page of the website and exited without visiting any other page in terms of percentage.
Un subscribers i.e. the number of times people have un subscribed from your email.
Traffic Generated i.e. the number of people that have landed on your website.
Sales Generated i.e. the number of leads you have converted or generated.

See you until next time:)
